Pet Urine Treatment

Pet stains and odors are a source of concern for many of our customers. We offer an additional treatment to address these issues. Our pet odor eliminator is an enzymatic cleaning agent that destroys odors and bacteria at their source for odor removal. Our pet odor eliminator has been designed specifically for removing odors caused by urine and other offensive matter by digesting odor causing bacteria in carpet and upholstery. Our pet odor eliminator contains special PH resistant enzymes that completely eliminate offensive odors instead of providing a temporary mask. Because this formulation contains no harsh chemicals it is non-toxic and safe for use in the home. If you have pet odor concerns, please ask one of our knowledgeable representatives about adding this product to your cleaning order.

Due to the varying circumstances for customers with pet odor issues (some have several minor spots, others have entire rooms with severe repeat offender situations and others may just have one spot big or small), the cost for the enzyme treatment also varies. The cost starts at $20.00 and really depends on the amount of treatment product needed and the amount of time and resources required from the technician. Our Senior Cleaning Technicians will examine the issue, discuss it with the customer and provide a price for this additional service prior to applying any treatment.

Extremely Soiled Areas
Will Require a DEEPER Cleaning

Situations out of the scope of normalcy may require additional specialty products, spot treatments or deep preconditioning to accomplish the best possible cleaning results. These types of situations include but are not limited to carpet that has not been professionally cleaned within the last 12 months, carpet or upholstery that and has been allowed to become extremely soiled, rental properties where tenants have misused the carpet and post construction clean up.
When situations out of the scope of normalcy are present, our Senior Cleaning Technician will assess the additional time and resources needed and provide the customer with a price quote for the additional services required to achieve the best possible results. Stainguard Protection

If your carpet is in good or better condition you may be interested in protecting it from future stains by adding STAIN GUARD PROTECTION. When Stain Guard Protection that prevents staining of the carpet or upholstery by blocking open dye sites. You see when your carpet or upholstery was manufactured only a certain amount of the available dye sites were used to create it’s color and appearance. The rest of the dye sites were left open creating potential homes for stains and soils. Left untreated these open dye sites allow soils and stains to bond ionically to the fiber creating permanent stains. When Stain Guard Protection is applied it seals these open dye sites protecting the fibers from soils and stains. This also allows the carpet to clean up beautifully the next time it needs cleaning. Carpet Maintenance Tips

  •  Vacuum regularly. Carpet will stay looking newer longer if vacuumed on a regular basis, usually about once per week. This prevents build up of sand and dirt that cause unnecessary wear to the fibers. 
  • Have your carpet professionally steam cleaned by WE CLEAN CARPET® when it looks visibly dirty. Waiting too long between cleanings can allow some spots to become permanent stains as well as allow traffic patterns to become visible and hard to remove.
  •  Don’t use over the counter (grocery store) spot and stain removal products on your carpet. Most of these products are soapy and will only attract dirt after application. In addition, the main ingredients in most of these types of products are optical brighteners that only make spots and stains appear less obvious for a short time. Eventually the stain will reappear. Instead, at the time of a spill blot up as much as you can and use a small amount of water and continue to blot. If your carpet has been stainguard protected by the manufacturer or by our service the spot will be easily removed with a professional steam cleaning by WE CLEAN CARPET®.
  •  Do not allow pet urine to dry in your carpet pad. Try to completely blot up and pet urine spots as soon as you are aware of them. Use your body weight by standing on a clean dry towel to be sure that you have absorbed as much as possible. Once you believe you have absorbed the majority of the urine, saturate the spot with water and absorb again. Have WE CLEAN CARPET® professionally steam clean the area and apply a URINEX® treatment for regular maintenance about every six months.
